I See The Way Love Looks at Me

I See The Way Love Looks at Me

April 02, 20242 min read

“I see the way you look at me.

How we will be in the middle of whatever and suddenly something causes you to pause ever so slightly and become fully present in just seeing me.

How your eyes fix upon me and sparkle with life.

How your face softens and you seem to smile at me from within.

It is so unexpected it catches my eye and it causes my breathing to shift, to slow, to deepen, and my body is flooded with a sense of well-being.

These moments of connection are so comfortable, they seem to be beyond human flesh.

Perhaps it is our inner spirits calling out to one another.

The essence of who we are embracing and communicating in ways that are beyond our current comprehension.

It leaves a feeling in my belly as it flutters and then grows as I breathe into it.

I feel myself absorbed by your face and the smile that lights you up.

Sometimes I am overtaken by a feeling of such peace and utter contentment, I momentarily lose track of where we are.”

Words Intuitively Written & Shared by Jodi Hinkle

Fostering love in our lives invites in a daily life that at first feels incomprehensible.

What Dr. Joe Dispenza taught me is your brain processes 400 billion bits of information a second, but you are only aware of 2,000 of those bits. Why? Because your brain filters out anything that doesn’t match your current life circumstances…for those who do not feel love in their lives, it is as though love doesn’t exist.

When you watch eagerly for glimpses of love like this, you invite your brain to eagerly let love in.

I invite you to experience love right now, this very minute.

As you read each word in my poem, allow your body to respond as if I am there seeing you this way.

Notice how I become fully present in just seeing you.

Feel how it catches you by surprise and your breathing changes.

Feel your belly flutter.

Feel the smile inside you that begins to light you up.

Watch for a flood of well-being to cascade all over you.

Know that your body just experienced love without anything around you physically changing.

Know that we communicate in invisible ways.

Know that parts of me see parts of you whether or not we have ever physically touched.

Know that I love you just because you are you.

Know that I am here with you.

Lovingly,

Jodi
